We love this sweet love story! When we first met Erika and Russ at BZ and asked them to describe their dream wedding, they imagined an elegant and romantic reunion, where guests received first-class treatment in a resort style setting. Thankfully, that is just how their wedding weekend unfolded.
As guests arrived in Austin, they were greeted with pre-arranged tee times for the gentlemen and, for the ladies, a luxurious day at Barton Creek’s fabulous Three Springs Spa. Following their afternoon of luxury, guests were whisked downtown for an evening of fine wine and dining at Cru Wine Bar in Austin’s 2ND Street District.
The wedding ceremony, held under Barton Creek’s gorgeous Pavilion, was truly a family affair. Erika’s daughters stood by her side, acting as her maid of honor and flower girl, and her son proudly escorted her down the aisle to meet her Groom. Following the summer ceremony, guests were cooled off with Watermelon Aqua Frescas, chilled towels + cool glasses of Champagne.
As cocktail hour came to a close, we invited guests to the Palm Court Room for an intimate dinner party-style reception. The four- course dinner was a true culinary experience, ending sweetly with a truffle trio and Champagne pairing. No guest went hungry at this elegant affair!
The setting was equally as luxe, designed in hues of platinum, plum, lilac and ivory, with elements of crystal, silk and silver. The Palm Court Room was a purple lovers dream come true! Our favorite design element? The amazing “Chloe” tray that allows for the most amazingly lush and full floral arrangements.
