Someone recently described this wedding as “sunny” and we could not agree more. From Mama Mayfield’s sunny personality (we love our MOBs) to the fun bridesmaids and the cheery color palette, this Austin wedding was just a ray of sunshine! We loved working with both of these amazing families — from start to finish, “B to Z” — on their Memorial Day wedding weekend at the Four Seasons Hotel. It was a blast.
Emily’s dress was the inspiration for this navy, wedgwood and lemon-inspired wedding. Our fabulous bride also loved peonies and tulips, so we included them all over. From the dance floor gobo to our signature cocktail stir sticks, it was fluffy floral central. Other loves — Austin and UT! I’ve never met bigger lovers of the ATX. Tables were named after their favorite Austin restaurants, UT season ticket seat locations + sentimental locales around the city. We also created “Emily + Trey’s Guide to Austin” for their guests to use as their weekend itinerary — so fun!
My other wedding faves — Trey’s “grooms cake” mini cinnamon rolls, Emily’s “signature” Cucumber Martini + our super-fun planning sessions. Never a dull moment with this group!
Mayfields — we miss you all + can’t wait to do it again.
